This Bible contains important family records with entries for him, his first wife, second wife, and their children. As this Bible has stayed in the James Shanks Family, it also has entries for James Shanks Loofbourrow and Mary Catherine Syfert's marriage and their children. This family Bible continues in our family today and is held by the children of James "Luke" and Lurene (Legg) Loofbourrow of Oklahoma (Luke Loofbourrow is the great great grandson of David I).
